Jami Dennis, GISP, has thirty years of experience in GIS, socio-economic research, demographic studies, data analysis, and data visualization. She is passionate about data visualization and sharing insights for improving data communication through better visualizations.
Her background also includes extensive experience in GIS for transportation, database development, graphic design, and web development/design. She worked in both state and regional government in Arizona for twenty-five years and now works in private practice on GIS, data analysis, and data visualization projects. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with others through engaging workshops and presentations.
Jami is also the author of GIS for Dummies (2nd Edition).
